This place, like others have noted, is a money-making mill with little to zero respect for their patients, who are paying customers.

I wouldn't even give this place one star. Front desk staff very, very rude. Dr. rude, incompetent. Shady billing. Health risk and I'm not exaggerating. Read on....

If you value your life and limbs, go to Better Med right up the street.

The staff were professional and helpful. I didn't even have a chance to sit down before a nurse took me to a room. The physician did a thorough review of my health and treated me immediately. He educated me on the problem and was clear about next steps. I received excellent care and would not hesitate to take any family member for immediate care.

ALWAYS check what code they used to bill you and/or your insurance and what services they say they performed; you'll likely find it's grossly exaggerated or worded in such a way as to be able to (remotely) justify what you're being charged.

Fast and efficient ....nurses and doctors were personable and attentive and very thorough ...but there was one RN that was extremely nervous and obviously did not know what she was doing ...could not even take blood pressure properly...also they need certified phlebotomist...hacked my wife’s arms three or four times and left her black and blue ...this happen on a 3 different occasions ...probably will never go back...will stay with BetterMeds down the street...

The doctor we saw was incompetent as well. He was flat out wrong in his assessment, causing further visits at other doctors, who not only confirmed that I was right in what I tried to tell that Dr. upon his incorrect assessment, but that the diagnosis was even actually much worse.

Hands down worst emergency room ever. I took my fiancee a few weeks ago, because he broke his hand. Upon waiting for a doctor, they harassed us for a co-pay when they found out he didn't have insurance. The nurses and doctors were very rude. The doctor ace bandaged it, telling him they didn't care how his hand was placed, and without letting the radiologist go over the xrays, they discharged him. He asked if he should follow up with an orthopedic doctor and they said if you want to but it wasn't important. Yesterday he said something didn't feel right. So I took him to a different er. They informed us, that it should have been set in a half splint, and he requires surgery, otherwise his hand will be permanently closed in a fist worse case, and best case after surgery, he will have no feeling in it. Swift Creek ER did not tell us the gravity of the situation and instead acted as if it was a small fracture that would be completely fine. Under no circumstances should you or anyone else go to this emergency room.

Took my 2 year old daughter here to be seen and loved our nurse that we had but my daughter had accidentally hit the call button on the remote and even though there was 10 nurses sitting in the bay I had to go and ask them to turn it off and the nurse who got up was a complete b***h, just rude and nasty. You get a nurse who is white with short blondish brown hair I suggest you ask for someone else because this women most definitely shouldn't be a nurse. More than likely won't use this ER again.

If anyone is interested in getting a class-action lawsuit together, I'd be interested; contact me. It's not for the whopping $5 we'd each receive, but because, as in our case as well as some reviewers' own cases on here, people have faced some exceedingly dangerous and life-threatening health problems due to lack of adequate care at Swift Creek ER.
