Such a great facility in the heart of Chesterfield! Biking, hiking and special programs offer something for everyone. The Park After Dark this year for Halloween was awesome! I love this place.
Beautiful park. Many paths for hiking and bicycles. Lake is amazing. I could go here every day and not get bored.
Great state park for mountain biking. Trails are stacked loops so you can ride as much or as little as you want. Trails are beginner to intermediate but you can do +20 miles so the distance will give you a work out if you are an advanced to expert rider. These are flow trails with a few small obstacles like rock gardens or some log overs, but on a whole not very technical. The trails here are a lot of fun though. Good signage and well maintained.
Our family had our first camping experience the coldest weekend of the year. We didn't let the temperature stop us from exploring the beautiful trails and camp ground. The fall colors were amazing and we really enjoyed Pocahontas. We will definitely be back
Well maintained and marked. Best mountain biking in the area, not that it is that hard to accomplish. Worth buying a pass if you're a local biker.
